Happy Juice: Tropical Berry

This is another juice I adore, not just because it tastes and looks good, but because it is full of so many amazing ingredients with incredible health benefits. Surely that is reason enough for you to rush to your kitchen and whip one of these up- I’ve had 3 today already!
This was a happy discovery that came about simply because these were the fruit I had to hand one day and I’ve been making it since.

Tropical Berry!

Nutritional benefits
Oranges are packed full of vitamin C and fiber, they contain heart-friendly potassium and lower cholesterol.
Pineapples contain vitamin A and C, calcium, fiber, and they strengthen your gums and bones.
Blueberries are full of anti-oxidants, they lower blood pressure and improve brain, heart and skin health.
Strawberries contain anti-oxidants and lower cholesterol.
Coconut oil is rich in anti-oxidants, lowers the risk of diabetes and heart disease, lowers cholesterol levels and can prevent Alzheimer’s.
Mint is abundant in nutrients and has diuretic effects too.

Pineapple, blueberries and strawberries. Yum!

Ingredients (makes one large juice)
1 cup of orange juice (freshly squeezed or bought)
1/2 cup of pineapple diced quite small
1/3 cup of blueberries
1/3 cup of strawberries
1tsp coconut oil
A few mint leaves

Juicy pineapple.
Fresh strawberries.
Nutritious blueberries

Method
Blend everything together using a stick blender or regular blender and serve. Easy! You can make it as thick or smooth as you like.

(For a super smooth version with no pineapple pulp, use a juicer to extract the juice from the pineapple before blending everything in a blender. For this you don’t need to dice the pineapple.)

Berry magic deliciousness!

Let the berries work their magic. Enjoy.
